It may be suitable for adults with a stable eyeglass prescription, short-sightedness and/or astigmatism, and those who prefer a minimally invasive vision correction option & with active lifestyle. Suitability must be confirmed through a pre-operative eye assessment.
Yes. A pre-operative eye assessment is required to determine whether your eyes are suitable for ZEISS SMILE Lasik. The doctor will assess factors such as prescription stability, corneal thickness, eye health, and other suitability criteria.
Yes. The deposit is refundable if the doctor assesses and confirms that you are not suitable for LASIK surgery after the required eye assessment. Patients are advised to confirm the refund process and terms before booking.
- Promotion period: This SMILE Pro Online Launch promotion is valid for purchases made from 4 September to 10 September 2026 only.
- Promotional price: SMILE Pro is offered at a rebate price of RM10,888, reduced from the normal price of RM12,388.
- Deposit: A RM500 deposit is required to secure the promotional package. The deposit is non-refundable once the client has been assessed as medically fit to undergo the procedure but subsequently withdraws from treatment. The deposit is only refundable if the patient is not fit for any laser vision correction services provided at our eye centre.
- Surgery redemption period: The SMILE Pro procedure must be performed within two (2) months from the date of purchase. Extensions beyond this period are subject to approval by Sunway Eye Centre.
- Appointment: Advanced appointments are required via WhatsApp LASIK Careline at +6019 229 8672. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
- Eligibility: All clients are required to undergo a pre-operative full eye assessment to determine their suitability for SMILE Pro.
- Medical suitability: In the event that the client is assessed to be medically unfit for SMILE Pro, the pre-operative eye assessment fee of RM200 shall be applicable. The balance of the sign-up fee may be transferred to other suitable vision correction options, subject to the ophthalmologist's recommendation.
- Contact lenses: Clients are required to discontinue wearing contact lenses for at least one (1) week prior to the pre-operative full eye assessment, or as otherwise advised by the eye care team.
- Ophthalmologist: The package is valid for procedures performed by Dr Umi Kalthum or Dr Daphne Teh only, subject to the respective ophthalmologist's availability. Patients may indicate their preferred ophthalmologist when scheduling their appointment.
- Continuity of care: For continuity of care, patients are encouraged to consult the same ophthalmologist throughout their treatment journey, as consultation approaches and clinical management may vary between doctors.
- Promotional validity:This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offers, discounts or promotions.
- Location:This package is valid only at Sunway Eye Centre, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
- Non-transferable:** The package is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
